Alicia Ortega

Alicia M. Ortega, 88, of Pecos passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in a care center in Odessa, Texas. Alicia was born on October 4, 1933 to Juan and Maria (De La O) Munoz in Pecos, Tx. Alicia enjoyed cooking, gardening, and she likes jewelry.

Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Tomas R. Chaves, her second husband Jose Ortega and her two sons Hector Chavez and Enrique Martinez.

Alicia is survived by her sons; Ernest Martinez, Joe Martinez, Thomas Chavez Jr., Sammy Chavez, and David Chavez, and daughter Lupe Baca. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9 am to 9 pm with a prayers service at 7 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. Mask are required at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home at 2 pm. with interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
