Antonio R Coria, 84, of Pecos, TX, passed away on Sunday, March 7th 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Tony was born in Tuxpan, Michoacán, Mexico to Maria Ruiz & Leopoldo Coria on May 8th 1936. He moved to Pecos and attended night school to get his GED. His life was dedicated to his family. He worked as a laborer in different fields. An entrepreneur opening his own restaurant known as Tony’s Mexican Restaurant in Pecos. He worked in the oilfield and helped his son and grandsons in their office. Once retired, he still planted various flowers, fruits, and vegetables in his garden. Tony was known to joke around with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He loved to see them smile and hear them laugh. He and his wife Angela also loved to take trips to Ojinaga to spend time with family. He regularly attended Saturday Mass at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Martha, Flora & María Elena Coria, his sons Vicente & Antonio “Loni” Jr and his daughters Rosalba and María Elena Coria and his grandson Vicente Hidalgo. As well as his dog Paloma.

Tony is survived by his wife Angela, his children Francisco “Pancho” Coria & his wife Ofelia, Amalia Coria, Diana Rodriguez & her husband Anastacio “Tacho”, Gloria Sanchez & her husband Hector Jr and Angel Coria. His brothers: Odilón Coria, Ricardo Coria, Juvencio Coria, Guadalupe Garcia and Joaquin Gervqcio. Grampa Tony was beloved by and blessed with 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He also had 4 stepchildren: Ino, Zulema, José Carlos & Reyes. Numerous step grandchildren. As well as his little dog Chiquita

Pallbearers will be Francisco “Chito” Coria Jr, Cesar Coria, Alejandro “Alex” Coria, Anastacio “AJ” Rodriguez Jr., Arnulfo “Bam” Granado III, Ron Rodriguez Sr and Aaron Mendoza.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral home, 607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772 on Tuesday, March 9th 2021 from10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church 620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772 on Wednesday March 10th 2021. Friends and family are requested to arrive at the church at 9::00 AM to be seated for funeral mass which will begin at 10:00 AM.

Please be advised, masks are required to be worn at both the funeral home and the church.
