Braulia Montoya Nativadad’s work on this earth was completed on May 14, 2022. She has entered into eternal rest with our Lord where she was greeted by her parents, Pilar and Ramona Montoya. Also waiting to embrace her in their loving arms were here sister Irma Montoya Lujan, her brother Pilar Montoya Jr., and her brother-in-law Michael Barrandey.
From humble beginnings on November 23, 1957, to ensuring that her children had the opportunity to receive a college education, she was a true example of grit and determination…with touch of feisty. Braulia was named after her grandmother but perhaps a more fitting reason for her name was that she was always ready to brawl for what was right. Just in case her children or grandchildren ever had any doubts, after 30 years, she herself went back to college to prove that it could be done. She was the matriarch of the family and always spoke her mind.
If you knew her then you know.
She leaves behind a strong legacy and loving family: Sammy Natividad, her loving husband of 43 years, her miracle son, Joel Natividad, her strong willed and independent daughter, Samantha Natividad, her baby sister Luz Armida Barrandey, 6 grandchildren Jared Lozano, Eian Villarreal, Liam Villarreal, Carter Natividad, Miles Natividad, and Ella Natividad.
Her last wishes were that her family stay strong together and that everyone remembers the small details of her life, like her talent for giving people nicknames, her asado recipe, her remedy for ojo or any mal that came your way and her advocacy for all the employees at her work. When you see her children, please tell them that she loved them with all of her heart and soul.
