Irene Galindo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Irene Galindo, who left this world surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life. She was born on April 5, 1933 in Marfa, Tx. She was the daughter of Dorothea Galindo and attended school in Marfa, Tx. She resided in Pecos, Tx most of her life. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing her love lives on in each of us. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Wright Jr; her grandsons, Israel Wright and Ernest Wright Jr; her sisters, Elva Galindo, Ida Galindo and Gloria Holguin; and her mother Dorothea Galindo.

She is survived by her daughter Elda Fuentez(late husband Alfredo Fuentez); her son Ernest Wright and wife Jeannie Wright; her grandchildren, Mark Wright, wife Angie Wright, Joe Daniel Wright, D'Andra Busta mantes, husband Elario Bustamantes, Monica Wright Prieto, husband Jaime Prieto, Angela Fuentez, spouse Ivan Paradez, Crystal Mendoza, spouse Margo Vargas, Ernest Wright Jr, and Kayla Wright; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be; Joe Daniel Wright, Elario Bustamantes, Ivan Paredez, Elario Bustamantes Jr, Marc Bejaran, Ernest Wright Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home from 9:00am to 9:00pm with rosary to be held at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10:00am at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt. Evergreen in Pecos, Texas.
