Irma Gavaldon, 71, was born in Coyame Chihuahua, Mexico to Tito and Petra Gavaldon on May 25, 1953.
Irma was a lifetime catholic. She worked at Levi’s Strause and Anchor West Foods for many years.
She enjoyed going to dances, playing Bingo and Loteria.
Irma is preceded in death by her parents; Tito and Petra Gavaldon, her sisters Ma. Ignacia Jimenez, Ma. De los Angeles Mata (Hela), Gloria Sanchez, brothers Epigmenio Gavaldon and Jose Luis Gavaldon.
She is survived by her love husband Jose Rodriguez, one daughter Sarah Licon of Visalia, California, three sons Samuel Licon, Tony Licon, and Bobby Licon all of California, numerous grandkids and great grandchildren, six sisters; Bertha Aguilar ( Jaime Aguilar) of Odessa, Texas, Cristina Munoz (Reyes Munoz) of Pecos, Texas, Socorro Serna (Imelda Anchondo) of Pecos, Texas, Maria de la Luz Reyes of Odessa, Texas, Manuela Reyes (Alfredo Reyes) of Pecos, Texas, Marisa Rodriguez (Raul Rodriguez) of Stanton, Texas, along with many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers serving will be Eppie Gavaldon, Oscar Gavaldon, Sergio Flores, Tito Gavaldon, Pedro Reyes, Jaime Aguilar, Alex Aguilar, and Jesus Cantu.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Rosary to be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas at 10:00am with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
