Jose Quiroz Valeriano of  Pecos, passed away on May 1, 2022. He was born on March 19, 1945 in Mexico. He was the son of Venancio and Delfina Valeriano.

Jose was raised in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico and went by the nickname of Che-Che to those he grew up with. He was a hazel eyed gentle-man, very generous and loved working with his hands. Jose loved his family. He enjoyed grilling and cooking asado, gardening with his wife, singing with his boys, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and helping out many friends and family members with their ranching or businesses.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Valeriano; two brothers, Juan Valeriano and Rogelio Valeriano; five children, Javier Hernandez of Big Spring, Zaira Valeriano of Midland, Jose Valeriano Jr. (Rosa) of Midland, Gary Valeriano (Gina) of Midland; and Jaime Vasquez (Jeannie) of Midland; thirteen grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Vanessa, (+) Tiffany, Patrick, Briana, Abraham, Adrian, Cristian, Alex, Jonathan, Izabella and Dominick; and five great grandchildren, Logan, Sebastian, Niko, Pamela, Noah and JJ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; David Valeriano, Eliseo Valeriano and Ricardo Valeriano, four sisters; Juana Valles, Anita Valeriano, Ignacia Chavez, Dolores Hinojos; and his mother-in-law, Sara Medina.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas. Rosary will be on Wednesday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas. A burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Ybarra, Abraham Valeriano, Adrian Valeriano, Cristian Valeriano, Alex Valeriano, Jonathan Valeriano, Sammy Villegas Jr., and Cody Zamarripa,

Honorary Pall Bearers; Logan Ybarra and Sebastian Ybarra.
