Manuel Jacquez

Manuel Jacquez, 81, of Pecos, Tx., was called to his resting place on Saturday, November 28, 2020. He entered this world on September 30, 1939, in Balmorhea, Tx. to Alberto and Maria (Lopez) Jacquez.

He is Preceded in death by his parents Alberto and Maria (Lopez) Jacquez, by his beloved grandson Pascual Sanchez Jr., his beloved granddaughter Monica S. Carrasco.

Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Rosa (Galindo) Jacquez, daughters; Delma Sanchez and husband Pascual Sanchez of Midland, Tx., Virginia Navarrete and husband Evigael Navarrete of Pecos, Tx, Sylvia Jacquez of Odessa, Tx. He is also survived by his grandsons; Joseph Sanchez and wife Joyce of Midland, Tx.,Daniel Sanchez and Azrial of Odessa, Tx., Jaymes Navarrete and wife Marisela of Pecos, Tx., 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Encarnacion Fuentes and husband David Fuentes, of Amarillo, Tx., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Manuel worked for the Town of Pecos City for over 39 years. He was Supervisor of the water department until he retired in 1997. He was a vary hardworking man who led by example. Manuel was a Catholic, was a very religious man who tried his best to follow God's teaching.

He was a wonderful, loving, and very giving husband, father, grandfather. He was  just as good to strangers, as he was to family and friends.  An exemplary person to his family and others... He was a wonderful blessing to everyone.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 9am. to 4pm. and a rosary at 2pm. at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel and Graveside Service will be on Tuesady, December 8, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos, Texas. at 2pm

Pallbearers; Pascual Sanchez, Evigael Navarrete, Alvaro Natividad, Joseph Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, and E. Jaymes Navarrete.
