With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Manuel Gonzales Rodriguez who departed this life on March 7, 2026, at Avir Nursing Home in Pecos, Texas. Born on December 19, 1964, to Felix and Maria Rodriguez, Manuel embraced life with an infectious joy that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Manuel will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and love for dancing and music. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and brought warmth and happiness to those around him, embodying a zest for life that will always be cherished. He attended school in Pecos and graduated from Pecos High School.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Felix and Maria Rodriguez, and his siblings: Cruz Anaya, Elfida Griffin, Lydia Bitolas, Susan Rodriguez, and Reyes Rodriguez. Manuel leaves behind his devoted sister-in-law, Norina Rodriguez, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, with a Rosary service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Barstow Catholic Church, officiated by Father De la Cruz. Interment will follow at Barstow Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest amidst the beauty of the Texas landscape he called home.

Pallbearers for this solemn occasion will include Andrew Rodriguez, CJ, Robert Rodriguez, Kaiden Hodges, Haley Hodges, and Jordyn Rodriguez, who will honor Manuel's life with love and respect.
