Virginia F. Romero

Virginia Florez Romero, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on April 1, 2026, just days shy of her 76th birthday. Born on April 6, 1950, in Pecos, TX, she was the beloved daughter of Juan and Luciana Florez.

Virginia was a dedicated housewife. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, like watching old movies and tackling crossword puzzles. Family meals out brought her immense happiness and are fondly remembered as treasured moments with her loved ones.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever remember her fondly: daughters Debra Urquidi, Dianne Aguilar, Leticia Romero, and Veronica Romero; sons Rene Florez and Ricky Romero; granddaughter Margarita Romero; and her brother Rolendo Florez.

Virginia was preceded in death by: Juan Florez, Luciana Florez, Elida Guitierrez, Jesusita Quiroz, Juan Florez Jr, Francisco Florez

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 1:00pm - 9:00pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10:00am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery,
