Adan Matta

Adan M. Matta, 78, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on March 26th, 2021 in El Paso, Texas.

Adan M. Matta was born in Pecos, Tx. to Nolberto and Juanita Matta on October 23rd, 1942. He went to school in Pecos, Tx. He married Maria (Hela) Matta on April 8th, 1961 in Ojinaga, Chih. He worked as a Relay Operator for Pennzoil for 20+ years. He was Catholic, and a lifetime Pecos resident.

Adan M. Matta is preceded in death by Wife - Maria (Hela) Matta, Parents - Nolberto and Juanita Matta, and Brothers - Felipe Matta, Miguel (Mike) Matta, Nolberto (Biro) Matta.

Adan M. Matta is survived by Daughters - Ester M. Samaniego of Odessa, Tx., Isela Garcia (Raul) of Pecos, Tx., Molly Vasquez (Bruno) of El Paso, Tx., Son - Adan (Sonny) Matta Jr (Alice) of Odessa, Tx., Grandson - Chris Sanchez (Lydia) of Odessa, Tx., Brother - Cipriano Matta of Pecos, Tx., Sisters - Erlinda Sauseda of Odessa, Tx., Eva Valencia of Pecos, Tx., 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adan Matta III, Joel Matta, Israel Matta, Raul Garcia Jr., James Garcia, AJ Samaniego, Bruno Vasquez and Chris Sanchez

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 from 9 AM to 8 pm and Rosary from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at 2 pm at Santa Rosa De Lima Church, with Fr. Cruz officiating. Family and friends are requested to be at the church by 1 pm. so the can be seated this is requested by the church, on the day of the service family and friends can visit family from 9 am to 12:45 pm. Masks and social distancing is required at all times, only the immediate family and pallbearers are to remain at the funeral home

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
