Genaro V. Guzman, 77, of Pecos,Tx., passed away surrounded by his family at Focus Care at Pecos in Pecos, Tx. He was born December 2,1943 to Isidro Guzman Ovicdo and Guadalupe Rodriguez Guzman in San Juan, Tx. Genaro married the love of his life Lorenza Rodriguez, he was retired from GSI Seismograph, was a lifetime Pecos resident and a Catholic. Genaro enjoyed family time especially on game days watching the Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger games.
Preceded in death by wife Lorenza Rodriguez Guzman, parents; Isidro Guzman Ovicdo and Ma. GuadalupeVazquez, sisters; Romana Guzman Vazquez, Maria De Jesus Guzman Vazquez, Paula Guzman Vazquez, Edelimina Guzman Vazquez, brother; Ramiro Guzman Vazquez.
Genaro is survived by his sons; Genaro Guzman Fr.(Lourdes), Isidro Guzman of Pecos, Tx., daughters; Diana G. Sandoval (Joe), Josie Lindsey, Gilda Leos (David Melendez Jr.), Guadalupe Guzman Machuca all of Pecos, Tx. and Elsa Estrlla (George) of Odessa, Tx. Sisters; Juana Guzman Vazquez, Maria Del Carmen Guzman Vazquez, Maria De La Luz Guzman Vazquez, Quintila Guzman Vazquez, Cruz Elia Guzman Vazquez, and Imelda Guzman Vazquez, 16 grandchilren, and 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 9 am to 9 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with rosary at 7 pm mask are required at all times. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, mask are required, with interment at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Pecos, Tx.
