Gustavo "Gus" Natividad

Gustavo "Gus" Natividad, 91, of Saragosa, Tx. passed away on September 26, 2021 in Pecos, Tx. Gustavo was born in Saragos, Tx. to Gregorio and Francisca "Pancha" Natividad on March 2, 1930. During his younger years he worked at Verhalen Mercantile for 22 years where he met the love of his life, Ramona Gomez. They got married on September 3, 1955 in Brogado, Tx. After the closing of the store in Verhalen, Gustavo worked at Safeway in Pecos, Tx. for many years. He was a well known store clerk and all of the customers loved him. One of his favorite things to do when he was not working to sing and listen to music with his family. He also enjoyed watching baseball both on television and down the street at the field by his home.

Gustavo is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Francisca G. Natividad and his sister Maria Franco.

Gustavo is survived by his wife Ramona G. Natividad of Saragosa, Tx., sons Sammy Natividad (Braulia) of Balmorhea, Tx., and Henry Natividad (Carmen) of Saragosa, Tx., daughters Norman Jean Senger (James) of Weatherford, Tx., and Elisa Sytsma of Livonia MI, 10 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Gerald Scripps, Dylan Scripps, Kriss Natividad, Louy Sytsma, Jared Lozano, Jason Guevara.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2021 and rosary at 7:00 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, mask are required at all times.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church i Saragosa, TX. Burial will follow at the Saragosa Cemetery.
