Roberto Rodriguez

Roberto C. Rodriguez “Pelon” 66 of Pecos Tx, passed away on February 22,2022 at his home surrounded by his family after a very short battle with cancer. Roberto was born in Ojinaga, Chih on December 30,1955. He is preceded by his parents Francisco and Margarita Rodriguez.

He married the love of his life Guadalupe M. Rodriguez. After starting a family in Mexico, they moved to Pecos Tx where they made his home till his passing. From a very young age he learned to work on cars from his mentor “Colorado”. He became self employed as a mechanic, there was not a thing he couldn’t fix. Roberto was frequently seen around Pecos riding around in his car with his wife at his side. He also enjoyed a good game of washers with his close friends while drinking his Natural Light. During family gatherings he was the center of attention due to his exclusive style of dancing and love of music. Roberto was a brave man that never demonstrated fear, even at his last days he fought a very courage’s battle. Survived by his wife of 49 years of married Guadalupe M. Rodriguez together they had 3 Daughters and 1 son. Named from eldest to youngest are; Christina Mendoza and her husband Oscar Mendoza of Pecos, Karime Sauceda of Pecos, Roberto Rodriguez Jr of Pecos, Yuliana Rodriguez of Pecos. Also 6 sisters and 2 brothers; Rosario Fuentes of Pecos, Rosa Munoz and her husband Luis Munoz of Pecos, Imelda Rodriguez of Pecos, Hilda Rodriguez of Abilene, Ricardo Rodriguez and his wife Margarita of Odessa, Carolina Perez and her husband Jose Cutberto Perez of midland, Carmen Serrano and her husband Teodoro Serrano of Pecos, Francisco Rodriguez Jr and his life partner Mirna Cerna of Pecos, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Rosary and Visitation will be on Tuesday March 1st,2022 at 7:30 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Thursday March 4th ,2022 at church Santa Rosa De Lima. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
