Samantha Ann Madrid Barreno, 33, of Odessa, Tx, passed away on May 31st, 2022 in Odessa, Tx.

Samantha was born in Odessa, Tx to Raul T. Barreno and Elodia Madrid Barreno on July 15th, 1988. She went to school in Pecos, Tx. She worked as an Associate for Walmart for 10 years. She also received her certifications in massage therapy. Samantha was one who captured every moment of life with a quick picture. She loved her son, nephews, niece, family, and friends so much and her picture albums definitely show that.

Samantha is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Faye Madrid, grandfather Joe Madrid, aunt Ester Armendariz, uncle Joe Madrid Jr, uncle Peter Jaquez, cousin James Ybarra, paternal grandmother Alicia Barreno, grandfather Alberto Barreno, uncle Roberto Barreno.

Samantha is survived by her son Derrick James Barreno, sister Amy Garcia and husband Rolando Garcia of Odessa, Tx, brother Erik Barreno and wife Jessica Barreno of Stanton, Tx, father Raul Barreno and mother Elodia Barreno of Stanton, Tx, nephew Niko Garcia, nephew Raul Garcia, niece Seraphina Barreno, nephew JohnErik Barreno, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Rolando Garcia, Niko Garcia, Ricky Barreno, Ismael Reyes Jr, Devin Carrasco, and Luis Ybarra Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6th, 2022 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7:30 pm at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Tx on 607 W. 3rd St.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 at 10 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church in Pecos, Tx with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery.
